  Dear Friends and Supporters, As we approach Giving Tuesday, my wife, Weyni Tekleab, and I are reaching out with an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young Ethiopian girls. We founded the Ethiopian Girls’ Bright Future Fund (EthioGBFF) to empower these girls through education, and your support has always been the cornerstone of our mission.   Our Journey and Inspiration 1981, I arrived in the U.S. with dreams and values rooted in resilience and compassion. Together with a dedicated professor in Ethiopia, we began by sponsoring ten remarkable young female college students from impoverished backgrounds in remote areas of Ethiopia.
